Caesarstone Porcelain Sleet

Caesarstone Porcelain Sleet

Prominent slanted bands of whites and off-whites interplay over a mist of graphite-grey lines dominated by slightly thicker golden-brown streaks that stretch across the surface, quietly building a minimal design in layers of elegant simplicity.

Caesarstone Porcelain is a sophisticated blend of natural minerals which produces a worktop of ultimate performance.

Joints
Caesarstone Porcelain worktop joints are finished with a small ariss to the top edge. Sealant is applied to prevent water ingression.

Heavily Veined / Particulated Colours
These colours are highly unlikely to have continuous flow of the pattern when 2 sheets or 2 pieces of the same sheet are seamed together. The change of pattern will show up on the seam area

Thermal expansion
Due to thermal expansion Caesarstone Porcelain can expand up to 1mm per metre.

Overhangs and supports
Any overhang extending more than 300mm must be supported.

Upstands
Upstands less than 100mm high are extremely fragile and are not recommended.
Upstands are not normally cut from the same slab as the work surfaces and therefore an exact colour match is not possible.

Your new Caesarstone worktops will need care and maintenance to keep them in good order over the years.

If you choose a polished finish they will be more easy to wipe down when compared to natural finishes which hold dirt more due to the surface texture.

This means Natural Finishes take a little longer to clean than Polished but if you use cleaning information in our Cleaning and Maintenance for Porcelain Surfaces Guide (link below) you will be able to remove the most stubborn stains.

However Natural Finishes are more resilient to scratching than polished if objects are dragged across the worktops (which should be avoided).

The best advice is to wipe up spillages when they happen and dry the worktop off with a tea towel,

Scratches
Ultra Compacts are highly scratch resistant but not scratch proof.

Staining
Porcelain worktops are incredibly hard and non-porous and will not absorb liquids, but it is still possible that grease, wine, coffee, nicotine, fruit juices and other strongly coloured substances can stain the surface if not properly protected or if the spills are not cleaned up immediately.

Hygienic
Polished polished worktops are naturally hygienic as they are non-porous

Handling
For installation of worktops weighing above 120kg, you will need to supply additional labour at no cost to Bluestone, every additional 75kg requires an extra person to assist with lifting.

Important Note on Colour and Pattern Variations

Please be aware that images on our website are indicative only. While they provide an idea of the pattern, shading, and colour tones, the actual appearance may differ due to variations in screen settings and the natural characteristics of quartz.

It is recommended that at least a sample be requested, ideally visit our manufacturing hub and view slabs and upon deposit payment you may in person a reserve specific slabs. Note that batch variations between samples and final slab product may differ in both tone and pattern and we provide not guarantee you will have an identical match.
